The Brick Book

Book series as a companion to the Brick Award

The projects in the book are presented by international architecture critics and journalists with comprehensive texts, fascinating pictures and informative plans. In addition at the start of each category, you can find essay on current topics by renown journalists and architects.

The book series started in 2004 and is published as a companion to the Brick Award architectural competition. It puts the spotlight on brick – a timeless construction material for forward-looking and innovative architecture – published in cooperation with Park Books.

Outstanding projects in the BRICK'20 book

Our 50 nominated projects for the Brick Award 20 are presented in the BRICK'20 book. Together with Park Books we present outstanding brick architecture around the world. Enjoy pictures and background information of all nominated projects and discover current developments and trends in international brick architecture. BRICK’18

8th edition is on sale at bookshops and online retailers

Over 600 projects from 44 countries were submitted for consideration for the Brick Award 18. The top 50 projects and the prize-winning buildings of the Brick Award are presented in the accompanying, elaborately designed architecture book called BRICK’18. The book gives people with an interest in architecture as well as experts an overview on current developments and trends in international brick architecture with its remarkable range of applications. The book is available online.
